If our strengths are our weaknesses; then when we are most strong, then we are weakest. Who knew that our strengths could be our weaknesses. If man does not live by bread, or other natural means alone, then he cannot be strong by himself alone, but by supernatural means which God supplies to him where his strength is so weakened to receive this strength of God which is Jesus manifested in him. That is the thing that man is supposed to be instead of what he has been form from natural birth. We are told to be strong this way in the Lord who is our covering so we are not naked….to be strong in the power of his might. At the points where man’s strength is weakened to receive the strength of God, it is there at that point that the strength of God is to be expected. The ultimate weakening of our strength is in death and even at that point God’s resurrection strength is sufficient to revive the dead back to life so nothing is impossible unto man through Christ who is the strength of God for us to do all things.

IN OUR AFFLICTION GOD REPLACES OUR STRENGTH

HE SETS ASIDE OUR HUMAN STRENGTH TO SHOW HIS STRENGTH IN US

Since man does not live by bread and natural resources alone, he cannot be strong by himself alone, but by the supernatural strength of God for which man’s strength is weakened for him to at that time receive the supernatural intervention of God’s strength making him strong in the power and might of God which is coursing unto him from God’s throne of power in heaven.

Paul said he rejoiced in tribulations where the glory of God is revealed in him... 2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed ; we are perplexed , but not in despair ; 9 Persecuted , but not forsaken ; cast down , but not destroyed ; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

Because no weapon fashioned against us can prosper against us but are only used to make God’s strenthe know to us, we are continually delivered unto death to know the strength of God whereby the life of Christ is manifested in us as the power of God. We ought to judge God faithful in our perilous situations who causes all thins there to play to our strengths in Christ. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will not fear no evil, for no weapon fashioned against me can prosper. To whom much is given, much affliction is required to reveal it. At the point where God has set aside our strength in our being weakened; he is prepaired to visit us there with his strength that is to replace our weakness. He says to us; only be very courageous, because it is scary to look death in the face, and confront our weaknesses which God’s strength is to replace.

These are some of those afflictions that come our way:

2 Corinthians 11:20 For ye suffer , if a man bring you into bondage , if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself , if a man smite you on the face. 21 I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. …Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. 25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned , thrice I suffered shipwreck , a night and a day I have been in the deep; 26 In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; 27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. 28 Beside those things that are without…Who is weak , and I am not weak ? who is offended , and I burn not? 30 If I must needs glory , I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities. 31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not. 32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison , desirous to apprehend me: 33 And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but God delivers us FROM THEM ALL. God has ordained that as often as we are afflicted to receive his strength, we are to be delivered upon receipt of that strength in our deliverance; as Israel was made stronger and more renowned by Egyptian bondage. They were known and feared throughout Canaan through the ordeal of their deliverance.

I recently exchanged comments on a post where the host being a devout believer, had some views on the very things that Jesus told us to do, that to me were startling. He basically said: [“Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”… is the ONLY sign of Christ’s presence in the heart. All else is vanity…. It’s always the same. Churches, tithes, praise mean nothing without The Commandment….. powerful magic tricks that looked like miracles are …. Filthy rags, as they say.] I actually and Agnostic described the works of Jesus in the very same dismissive characterizations. If you are going to express love to your neighbor, I cannot in all the universe think of a more profound way to express love to your neighbor but by doing to them the things that Jesus told us to do.

These things that Jesus told us to do, are not done for the benefit of trees, or mountains, or buildings, but for people who are our neighbor; we are to open the eyes of the blind, heal the sick, tell them about he gospel of the kingdom of God that features these things….raise the dead. As the scripture bears out the point asking: does God say these things to benefit cows, or men?

Faith and love are intrinsically linked. The scripture makes mention of a faith that worketh by love. This is clearly seen in the narrative of Jesus and Lazarus. Lazarus who lately died had tow sisters Mary, and Martha who mourned and wept at the loss of Lazarus their brother, needless to say they loved him; but apparent there was no mixing of that love with faith. Jesus later said to them: didn’t I tell you that IF YOU BELIEVED ME YOU WOULD SEE THE GLORY OF GOD.

God defined love as obeying him; he defines himself as LOVE; the thing he tells us to obey include all the things that Jesus did and the greater ones he will show us. When pressed on the issue of the massive collapse in the area of the one thing that is prescribed by God to define give them favor around the world, instead of acknowledging any failing, the church deftly pulls the love card; as if it is the ‘get out of jail free card’ in Monopoly, and with it everything Jesus told us to do is supposed to just go away. The idea being that we love everybody so that makes it ok for us not to demonstrate the power of God. A funny thing about this love, you should know; love being an act, whatever act they do to express love never goes beyond the boundary of man’s capability, whereas everything God told us to do goes far beyond man’s capabilities. This singular most defining aspect of the church’s life is treated as a non-issue in the church worldwide.

A healthy heart acknowledges both the love and power of God, practicing them in equal measure. In the ministry of reconciliation whose capacity is more effective, God’s or man’s. God says to that end he cannot tarry man, not for the sons of men, for their capacity is now up to the task of doing the work of God. Where we proceed in disobedience therefore in the ministry of reconciling the world without the requisite signs following the preaching, God says all the foundations of the earth remain out of alignment, and for our disobedience they are unaddressed though they groan in pain waiting for the manifestation of sons of god in us to be delivered. There are no Popes, or King Henry of the Church of England keeping the word from us and burning people at the sake, but there are spiritual wickedness in high places in the church setting arbitrary limits to what we can believe though God says all things are possible to them that believe.

Here is the seminal, pivotal point on which the issue revolves and made the distinction between the love that Mary & Martha had versus that love that Jesus had. Both had but one kind of love could raise Lazarus where the other does what we see at funerals today without exception bar-none! The difference is that Jesus’ love obeyed God while the other did what you see Christians doing today. Jesus went to Lazarus’ grave and spoke the work of faith for the Father to then act upon those spoken words of faith and raise Lazarus. Jesus said he did none of those miracles on his own, but his Father showed him all the miracles that he did, and is to show us also so we can do them too. We are supposed to do that today but without exception none do it. That is what I so glared at throughout that high profile funeral service of Whitney Huston.

Imagine a scenario where that was done. That would be of no less significance that Lazarus was in his day. It would headline the news for the next decade. Whitney would outsell any box office draw and destroy the music charts for the foreseeable future. Christianity would no longer be some declining form of Godliness morality philosophy.
I’ve visited various blogs where Whitney was the topic and even posted comments to this possibility. Neither did you hear the ministers at her funeral mention this as a possibility, but where I posted the comment to raise tis issue…..not one person even reflected on this prospect which GOD ORDAINED TO BE FOR OUR GLORY IN THIS WORLD BUT WE HAVE HIDDEN IT UNDER THE BUSHEL OF FEAR AND IGNORANCE. Instead of receiving notoriety and glory we have contented ourselves to be an inconsequential pariah among religions having lost our meaning in the power of God and wax eloquent in great orations of words wherein God protests is not his kingdom.

Levee breaches and disaster are synonymous. Disaster inevitably unfolds in the wake of most levee breaks except for one scenario where the outcome is calculated to be a benefit all the time. That is the case where the wall that breaks is the one that separated man from the strength of God which is described as the waves of the sea, coursing toward him directly form the throne of God in heaven. The plan here is that, in order for Gods strength to replace the human strength of man, in man; man’s strength has to be compromised. This happens through various afflictions that brings us to the ends of our earthly ways and means. He says many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him form them all. Where we are afflicted there is a calculated purpose that it behooves us give our full attention to addressing the intended improvement. God doesn’t afflict us to break us down but to elevate us in the very thing that is his strength.

The scripture says God weakens our strength so in our weakness the strength of God can be perfected in us. This is illustrated in the story of Jacob who was as slick and clever of a fox. He took his older brother’s birthright by sheer cunning, went and took all his uncles possessions but fancy foot-works, became a rich man in every way. He knew how to work the system to get what he wanted. Eventually things catch up to us; He just plum had enough of a life of deception and entered a struggle with the Lord to resolve matters. They struggled ( many see this a time of intense praying, fasting) all night till dawn’s approach found them in a virtual deadlock and God said let me go. Jacob said: no way, I can’t go on like this any more; I won’t lit you go till you bless me.

Who’d think you’d have to struggle with God to get a blessing. Don’t those things just fall like rain? God agreed to bless him; so he weakened his strength so he walked with a limp form that day forward, but said to him: as a prince you have prevailed and now have power with God. His name was changed from Jacob to Israel; from a sly fox of a trickster to a prince having power with God. Generations later when Israel’s children became a nation God still had difficulty maintaining the dynamic relationship with them. When they drifted from his agreement with them to trust in their own ways God would cause disaster to result. This narrative in Isaiah shows the kind of resistance we often offer when God seeks to perfect us in his strength.

When you go to join two pieced of materials together you have to degrade the surface where the old joins the new piece or else you cannot maintain the integrity of any kind of strength where they are joined.

Isaiah 22: —Ye have seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many : and ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool. 10 And ye have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have ye broken down to fortify the wall. 11 Ye made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but ye have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago. 12 And in that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth: 13 And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink ; for to morrow we shall die. 8 The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel. Isaiah 9:—9 And all the people shall know , even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart, 10 The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down , but we will change them into cedars.

When God seeks to strengthen us our response is almost without exception to seek to strengthen that part of our earthly means and ways that has been compromised. These people said….maybe the bricks are fallen down, but we will rebuild with carved marble, and replace the pine wood with Brazilian Mahogany; God won’t get the better of us; no way. Believe it or not we often resent God intruding into “our” lives. If God seems to be intruding it is because in Christ the agreement that we have is that it is not supposed to be our lives anymore but Christ who live in us; all God is seeking to do is install that life of his son in the strength and power God.

They say the rising tide lifts all boats. The river that is God is full of water, the very life and power of God flowing from the source at the very throne of God eternal in heaven. It visits the earth, and waters it: God greatly enriching it with the river of God, which is full of water: he prepares them corn, when he has so provided for it. He waters the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settles the furrows thereof: thou makes it soft with showers: he blesses the springing thereof. God crowns the year with thy goodness; and his ways enrich the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side. The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing. He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them, (and give it all to the least in his kingdom).

In Christ when you are distilled to the simplest expression of what you are, you are the very thing that is described as having its source at the throne of God in heaven, and the exceeding greatness of it is flowing towards you and I. Paul in Ephesians prays that the eyes of our under -standing might be opened to see and acknowledge this that is flowing to you from the throne of God. When it comes together in you, it is the power of God, and has a name……Christ the power of God—the very pillars and foundations of the earth. Christ is the power of God in you to do all the things that Christ did in his three years of ministry, and told us to continue doing the same works that he did.

Though they call it the mighty Mississippi, The River Amazon is second in length only to the Nile, but in all other statistics for sheer volume, width, and force of water, it tops the list of world’s mightiest rivers. Pulling water from both hemispheres north and south out of six different countries: Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela and Colombia it flows 1/5 of all river waters on the planet through a mouth bridging the Atlantic for 200 miles, and draining a basin of 2 1/2 million square miles with such force that the yellowish silt clay and sand can be seen from satelite spreading one hundred miles out into the Atlantic. Having it’s source a silvery mountain stream 17,000 feet high up in the snowbound peaks of the Peruvian Andes, it receives more tributaries, and streams than any other river in the world.

The River Amazon—SOUTH AMERICAN CONTINENT

THE RIVER OF GOD:Psalm 65—Having no source on earth, the river of God is full of water flowing from the very throne of God in Heaven. Psalm 65: 4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest , and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. 5 By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of the islands that are afar off upon the sea: 6 Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power: 7 Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people. 8 They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are stricken in awe at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.9 Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it. 10 Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness. 12 They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side. 13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

Proverbs 8:26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. 27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: 28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: 29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: 30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; 31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

The river of God is full of water, the very life and power of God flowing from the source at the very throne of God eternal in heaven. As all other rivers having a source must have a destination also, it too has a destination as well. An eternal source can have for it destination no less than what also is itself eternal; but what eternal destination upon earth could the mighty river of God have in it’s view?

The river that is God is full of water for man so he never thirsts again.

The thing that is kept under guard by matching doors that are everlasting; is eternal….the heart of man; for the kingdom of God is hidden within the heart man: and to that the river of God seeks. The river of God on approach to that door, gives out the cry: “lift up your heads, O ye gates, even lift them up you everlasting doors and the King of Glory will come in”. It is said a rising tide lifts all boats; the river of God is full of water sufficient to lift all of mankind to a height exceeding that by which heavens are lifted above the earth; to inherit the very throne and source of glory—the highest of all flood markers: The King of Glory himself who approaches—the gift of God. 1 Samuel 2:8—8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them, (and give all to the least in his kingdom).

Everything we do is based on how we see ourselves; when it should be based on how we do not see ourselves, because if you are in Christ it is no longer you who are there living, and if it is no longer you, then you should not be able to see yourself, but see Christ instead who lives in you; and not your abilities, but his abilities should be the measure of what is possible with you. That’s why you can do all things according to how you see Christ in you strengthening you for all things to be possible with you.

The easiest, clearest way to see who you are is when you are distilled. That process separate what you are from what you are not. That is what happens when you die; part of you goes back to the ground…dust to dust, ashes to ashes; and part of you do not. The part of you that is not dust is eternal, and goes back to God where it came from. Believe it or not, for the purpose of knowing who you are, and how to be effective in doing things according to what you really are, you can be distilled without experiencing physical death. That is what resurrection life in Christ is—not just life….but resurrection life, something that happens while you are still alive that would ordinarily happen after you die. The word is called a discerner to distinguish between your thoughts and your intentions, between soul and your spirit, so you can tell the difference between where your humanity ends and your real eternal divine nature begins. By that you can tell the difference between your thoughts and God’s thoughts which though they are different from your thoughts you are suppose to embrace Gods thoughts for your eternal while you still live and act out of those eternal thoughts.

Take a GOD Look

Let the children of men strive with their fathers, who themselves are but men; but concerning the things appointed for my sons who are gods, let them ask me; then let them direct the hand of God to perform all the things I’ve appointed for them in the ministry of reconciling the world that I have left to them to do. They are my workmanship, and shall perform my pleasure, whom I have appointed to give counsel to me; therefore do they have my mind given to them in Christ Jesus.

What Can Separate You? NOTHING!”

Moses reflected that God spoke to them out of his great fire on Mt. Sinai, and gave to them only ten commandments; and added no more, yet we have added 603 for a grand total of 613 degrees of separation to keep us at a distance from God who wants to be close to us, his own kind who will not receive him, or acknowledge him as such.

To look at God is to know and be reminded what manner of man you are, because it is in his image you are made, and all that you are is defined by all that he is. The experience of sin has the power to rob us of our identity in God, it makes us forget about that part of us that is not just like God, God identifies that part of us as himself, yet it is we. This image is expressed into us from out of God in the essence of his breath or spirit, for that is what God is…..spirit. The spirit of God was expressed into Adam as a mother expresses milk to nourish the child she gives birth to. The trinity is said to be three persons as one God, well if all several billion current occupants of earth chose to be in Christ, it would not increase the godhead by one more than it is and has always been.

THE FORGOTTEN MANNER OF MAN: A Crysis Of Identity”

If no man can, or has ever seen God, nor can ever approach him, yet he now invites us to do so in Christ that should be to us singular signal to us that there is way more to us than meets the eye. Jesus disciples looked at each other in bewilderment, asking: “what manner of man is this that even the wind and the waves obey him. Jesus looked at them as to say to them: you know, you could have done the same thing. He asked them “where is your faith” The things that are possible with Jesus are now possible with us; it is expected of us, even greater things. We need only remember what manner of men we are.

James 1:22-24 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only (25 …who looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer), deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way , and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

Forgetting God is self-deception, a crysis of identity: forgetting the manner of man that you are; for you are what he is…the living visible image of the invisible God “

Adam disobeyed God and consequently fell, he forgot what manner of man he was that used to keep company with God. This disobedience is an act of refusing to reflect the clear image of God; it is entering into self-deception, forgetting God, the manner of man that you are.

Disobedience causes us to forget who we are; to totally loose focus, forgetting who God is. It causes he image of God becomes out of focus in us.. It presupposes that we had opportunity to be instructed through the word; …to see ourselves in the word. To then walk away from such instructions and not do it, we become as a man that forgets who he is; textbook definition of dyslectic dysfunctional personality identity crisis. When we disobey god we play a trick on ourselves. When Adam disobeyed God and consequently fell, he forgot what manner of man he was that used to keep company with God. Not only did Adam forget, but we his children are now born without that knowledge. If you believe the scriptures you know that: (1 Tim. 6:16 — (God) only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power); yet God and Adam used to regularly be in the company of each other. Two thousand years ago God perfected and implemented his plan that allows you and I to now enjoy that same fellowship that existed between them before Adam fell.

What the scripture shows clearly is that for all the mighty works he did; when he came back to his home town, he could there do no mighty miracles because of the doubtful skeptical spirit of those in his home town. The same is true of the last 42 generations of “believers”. None of the mighty works of Jesus has been possible for the same reason he could do nothing where he lived in Nazareth. We are all responsible for he kind of home we provide for Jesus; mine will be such home where he is quite at home doing all his mighty miracles and even greater works. The works of man are distinctly different from the works of man. This you can know by comparing what Jesus did and what what the last 42 generations have ; even atheists can do the altruistic compassionate works of humanism that soup-kitchen Christianity does without the power of God in evidence. There is a reason the bush burned but was not consumed before Mosses. The power of God does not depend on the fuel of natural resources and the power of God in not seen in works of altruistic humanism that showcases human efforts and needs not the power of God to accomplish. What is seen instead is another form of godliness. Christ is the power of God put forth to do the works of God. God is interested in showing Jesus to the world, and this Jesus is the Power of God that he told us to demonstrate, like he told Moses to demonstrate certain things in the courts of Egypt. We are ashamed of he power of God for the previous 40 generations, so we cannot inherit the glory of God to which we are called, and the world has taken notice of our failure.

Impressive though our human skills may be in helping us to accomplish what humans are known to do, none of our unbelievable human skills great as they are, can help you walk on water? Peter walked on water raised the dead and the skills that were on the résumé of the disciples and Jesus their master included many such things. This is the manner of life that God offers to us in Christ Jesus. They are not to be seen as cheap magicians trick but engage the powers of darkness to set the foundations of the world to right again. The faith of the sons of God is what is required to do this; by this faith we can be in this world as Jesus not just in name but in power; for the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power demonstrated to deliver from things that confound physicians.

You can enter heaven as an infant of days, but you cannot do the works of God as a child in understanding. Children drink milk, but strong meat is for the mature believer, and no one is asking for strong meat; no one seems to have the stomach for it. When Jesus said you have to eat my flesh and drink by blood; the entire church got up and left him except for the small circle of his immediate disciples. To the extent that we follow their example the clergy will not enter the kingdom of God nor will you, if you follow them. All things that are done in the kingdom of God are done as a result of God putting forth his power to accomplish it. No amount of human effort can accomplish anything that is done in the kingdom. When you look at strong meat, it appears as something offensive on the surface: cannibalism in this case, or heresy, even blasphemy for wanting to assume your God given privilege. That’s why no decent, self-respecting human is going to do go there. Are you kidding me….speaking to storms, and winds, and the waves of the sea • calling dead people back to life • walking on water • feeding thousands with few fish and loaves of bread • talking to trees, and mountains • making water out of wine • I mean…come-on…give me a break, there are no such things as demons or spirits—and we are supposed to know all things cause we have the mind of Christ—to boot no less? Those however who respect God have no problem with it; God-respecting people are who can enter into the kingdom.

The depth of our self-delusion and inability in fallen human to see the truth, runs in channels that are cut ponderously deep. Just more strong meat for consideration, that the body has no belly for: Jesus said just so that you may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins, I now tell this man get up, and be made whole form his lifelong affliction. So doing the crowd gasped in horror…who else but God has power to for give sins; what is this man up to? The scripture reveals that the sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. When you are stung by death, you are going to die unless you remove that sting.

Those who are the sons of God, are sons because according to the gospel of John they have received power to become sons. Among those powers is the power to forgive sins and not just sins of people who have offended them, but as imitators of Jesus, just as Jesus forgives sins, he has given us power to remove this sting. Whosoever sins you forgive, they are forgiven; and those whose sins ye retain they remain. This will appear most shocking to minds who have never contemplated the reality of Jesus’ request that we raise the dead as a consequence of believing on him. We forget that it is not we who are living anymore in our mortal bodies, but the very Jesus who told us to do it that is living now in us…IT IS NOT ABOUT US ANY MORE….THE LAST MEMO ANNOUNCED—(if you believe it)—WE ARE DEAD, AND CHRIST NOW LIVES IN YOU….THAT’S WHY IT IS POSSIBLE TO FORGIVE SINS. This is crucial because forgiving sins is tantamount to removing the sting of death, and if you cannot remove the sting of death you cannot prevent nor reverse the effect of death. Once death stings you, it send out it’s feelers well beyond the reach of the grave to handle you in life; limiting your liberties, diminishing your health as it handles you with its cruel tentacles of diseases until it finally draws you into one last cruel embrace to the grave.

When they say to the temple be built, God says I will do it; when they to the foundations be laid down, and to the decayed places be raised up: God says I will perform the doing of those things. Jesus said all the mighty miracles that he did, he did not do them of himself, but whatsoever he saw his Father doing, that is what he does and the Father will show us greater things that we will do as well as all the mighty works he had done in his three years of ministry.

If those people standing right there within earshot of Jesus when he spoke missed the message; do you suppose that we who are 2000 years removed somehow have a better grasp on it? Well if that’s the case, answer me this; why then is no one doing what he asked those who profess to believe him to do: which is all the mighty works that he did in his three years of ministry. Jesus has every right to expect us to do what he did and even greater works because he plainly told us that he did none of those mighty works, but what he saw the Father doing in heaven, he echoed that on earth, being the perfect image of our Father who is willing to show us the same things that he showed to Jesus and greater even things. What is required on our part is the faith of a child. Just believe instead of getting frozen in the trap of analysis paralysis.

People are always giving God a bad rap for all the evil that goes on in the world. If we are going to blame God we should be willing to share in the blame as well because he says that whatever he could do he has made it possible for we who believe in him to do it as well. Job 22:30 says, if you acquaint yourself with the Lord you shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands. You shall decree a thing and it shall come to pass. We have Jesus who in the beginning was the word, and was made flesh. Herod thought he was John Baptist come back to life and others thought he was Elijah because of the mighty works that showed forth themselves in him and according to Jesus those works are to show forth themselves in us as well. Today however instead of showing forth those works, Christians do works of altruistic humanism that atheists can do by simple human efforts. Nothing of the works Jesus did could be accomplished in that way, which is a damning revelation on the state of Christian faith in the Western church culture. Is it an exaggeration where Jesus asks: will I find faith on earth when I return, and he is soon to return so the question is answered in the negative today.

The place that we keep our treasures is in our hearts. That’s the place where we hold the things that are most valued to us and they are constantly in our mouths as we talk about them. We talk about what we believe in. Job said he esteemed the word of God more than his necessary food, because man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God. The things that are in our hearts should be in our mouths and that is the word of God…heart to mouth living. As we keep the word of God we cannot help but to speak it and speaking the word of God makes us the messengers of God. God says he confirms those words that his messengers speak and performs the council of his servant.

Where we are instructed to go and heal those we encounter in the way, and tell them that the kingdom of God is near; Jesus is having us pass out samples of the power of the world to come. Today however with the singular exception of salvation, we put off everything of the kingdom God that is given, deferring them to a future time, and a world that is to come, and only offer words as comfort to a suffering world. Jesus clearly sent message to John before he was executed saying: tell John the gospel is preached to the poor, and the dead like Lazarus are raised (to the comfort of they who would have suffered that loss). Jesus himself said: that you may be assured of sins forgiven, I say to the sick of the palsy; arise and be made whole. Demonstrated power witnesses of the kingdom of God that is to come, not words

The kingdom of God is within us, and that field represents our hearts. In this way you can get an idea about what people think about the kingdom of God by how much they talk about it; bearing in mind the kingdom of God is represented by the things Jesus sent his disciples out to do and having done it, tell those for whom such things were done that the kingdom of God is near to them; meaning the world where these things are the prevailing conditions is coming to earth, but for now such conditions are provided in measure, by Jesus and his disciples. Since a man’s money are supposed to be in the things he is talking about.

The works that Jesus asks the church to do makes them the panacea of the world, but they inexplicably walk away from it to do works of altruistic humanism that even Atheists can do without the power of God.

Busy ineffectiveness is just a step above apathy, but for all intents and purposes it still doesn’t measure up to what Jesus asked us to do. Without faith…specifically faith that is informed by love it is impossible to please God, and that includes works that are done without faith or as well as those done with faith in means other than the one God prescribed. We could even go so far as to give our bodies to be burnt, and we will still suffer loss because such faith was not driven by love, and the definition of that love is where God knows it is love because it is done in obedience to his directions. Disobedience is the opposite of love, and we the church have not yet obeyed the Lord where he commanded us to do the works that he himself did in the day of his flesh. We complain often about how the rich could end world hunger, and cure much of the world’s ills if they were less selfish with their resources. Jesus left power in the hands of the church to do that, but they are too resigned to cowardice and fear to follow through. People are starting to look around at the Christian faith and are asking some searching questions about what we are doing.

They (the clergy) cross land and sea to make one convert twice the child of hell as they are. This warning that Jesus gave to the leaders of the church saying that when they do not enter into the kingdom of God, or (when they fail to live up to type of ministry that he an his 12 trained disciples demonstrated and then passed along to them to continue doing), is that they would instead produce disciples that would be twice the child of hell as they for not obeying him. Today you look across the globe and what you see is a stunning fulfillment of that warning. For the better part of the last 1000 years the church has produced some of fiercest most outspoken Atheists in history. Like Darwin, they all come from within the church, and are twice as smart, know the bible better than most of the clergy, and are exceeding vexed and bitter because of what they see as gross incompetence in them.

Atheism is Christianity with a bad case of indigestion. They (the clergy) cross land and sea to make one convert twice the child of hell as they are. Over the last several decades they have torn prayer and any spiritual expressions from out of the schools and public life of America so that even the nativity is a pariah in towns of America, produced the greatest killing fields in abortion than all the wars fought by humanity from the dawn of his inception, created doctrines of evolution that have swallow the world apostasy and chased Christianity from the public forums around the globe. Almost any of the worlds major religions are accepted and respected at face value, but Christianity is derided at every corner and every opportunity. This is the child of the clergy whom Jesus warned would be produced as twice the child of hell because they, the clergy would not enter into the kingdom of God nor would allow them, the converts (disciples of the new clergy) to go in either, so they have turned to burn the house down.

When the disciples saw Jesus working they were amazed and asked themselves: what manner of man is this? Well when we look in the mirror and do not do what Jesus told us to do as he had done we have forgotten the manner of man that we are….that is the manner of man that this same Jesus is. The reason the life that Christians have is called resurrection life is not because they believe in someone who is supposed to be dead, but because they do what Jesus who was dead use to do, to show that he is alive in them. When we read the word of God it says we are supposed to do what we hear and read the instructions saying to us to do, and if we don’t we deceive ourselves and forget what manner of man we were. As we look at scripture, we see Jesus working miracles and telling us to do likewise , and we were supposed to make necessary adjustments so the word could become flesh again in us by living in our flesh, but we walked away and forget that we are supposed to be Jesus in the works we do. When the world sees us they are supposed to take a second look and be impressed that we are Jesus come back form the dead because of the mighty works that show forth themselves in us. That is what resurrection life means; Jesus living in us so it is not we who live anymore, but Jesus living in us and continuing to do what he did in his three years of ministry on earth.

Our works are supposed to follow us not...fall-on-us, and those are to be borrowed from Jesus’ capabilities to produce his works in our generation. That trusting in God’s supply of power by Jesus is the works that are to follow. Whatsoever is not of faith is sin and no sin can enter heaven. If our works are not showcased in the gallery of what Jesus did and told us to do we run the risk of suffering great loss because it was not of faith, but where we trusted in our human abilities to do only what even unbelievers can do without Jesus, the power of God.

Faith comes by hearing the word of God, and is passed on from faith to faith, form one generation to the next generation. Herod thought that Jesus was John Baptist come back from the dead and that’s why mighty works were done by the hand of Jesus. When the world sees us they should get the impression that we are Jesus Christ come back from the dead accounting for the mighty works done by our hands according the exceeding greatness of the mighty power of God that is with us when we raise the dead and do all the other works of Jesus that he told us to do. Today everyone is busy making disciples but nobody is a disciple of Jesus in the ministry that he demonstrated across his 3 years on earth, and then told us to do the same and even greater things.

Disciples should be as their masters but there is an open and I might say bogus acknowledgment that nobody can be like Jesus…..HELLO!! Jesus’ 12 disciples were like him; they did the same work. They raised the dead and many of the same works Jesus did. Talk about the missing link of the power of God between Jesus and we who profess to be his disciples. I suppose now the argument might arise: well, nobody can be like Jesus’ disciples? If disciples cannot be as their masters…as they should, they will continue making disciples after themselves; all new converts will be made like themselves instead of the masters image. Jesus warned of this; where leaders do not enter into the kingdom of God, but cross land and sea to evangelize, and make the new converts twice the child of hell as they.

I AM UNWILLING TO WAIT ANOTHER 100 YEAR TO DO WHAT 2000 YEARS AGO JESUS TOLD US TO DO; AND THAT WAS NOT TO JUST GO AND PREACH THE GOSPEL, BECAUSE THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT IN WORD BUT IN POWER: AND THAT POWER IS JESUS WITHOUT WHOM WE HAVE ONLY THE APPEARANCE, OR JUST ANOTHER FORM OF GODLINESS.

The common lay person is beginning to awaken to the gross lapse in the kind of ministry that Jesus demonstrated and what it has devolved into in the hands of these physicians of no value.

“Most of what is offered at many Western churches, across denominational lines and including the most progressive Emerging/Emergent churches, can be accomplished by human effort and willpower alone. We cannot offer the wider world, a world reeling from personal, systemic and global evils, anything that they cannot get elsewhere. Honestly, sometimes I feel we may as well just be the Boy Scouts or Rotary Club. Do we honestly believe that Jesus’ Incarnation, Crucifixion, Resurrection and Glorification and our Baptism with the Holy Spirit all happened so that we could be one of many organizations that help people? To be one more source of morality and ethics?” …speakfaithfully.wordpress.com

At first the leaders told the world that it was unlawful for them to read the word of God, and now the would tell you it is unlawful to speak the word of God

What do you suspect is going to happen if you chance speak the word or God? Are you going to go up in a puff of smoke or experience a veil lifting from your faculties that prevented you from grasping spiritual truths beyond saving grace. The word of God is like a seed which if you don’t sow it, it can never produce after its kind in us the life of God that we should have. If you want to sow the work of God you have to say the word of God.We need to find out how these things are true and how to say them to honor God instead of men. God said if you ask for wisdom he will give it to you and not brow beat you down with insults.

BY FAITH IN CHRIST…Old things are passed away, and all things are become a new creation in you. Whoever now lives in you therefore, is not you anymore, but it is God…God is God and he is in you; because you being old in Adam, are passed away with old things. Having passed away, you are dead, yet still you are living as Christ, and Christ is God; but there is a gag order and you can’t say that?

Having passed away, you are dead, yet now you are living as Christ, and Christ is God, but you are not supposed to say that...

The foundation of the church is based on the confession that Jesus is the Son of God, and so are you because you believe on his finished work that makes it so.

If you see the Son, you see the Father, the Father is God
You are his son, I see you, so you must be ———

Whatever the father is, that’s what his sons are
The Father is God, we’re his sons, so we must be ———

What ever the Son is, that’s what we are
The Son is God, so we must be ———

What ever God says is true
He said we are gods, so you must be ————

Only God can do God’s work
God told us to do his kind of works, so we must be ———

The glory of God cannot go to anyone else but God
God gave his glory to us, so we must be ———

The heaven, and the heaven of heavens belong to the Lord God
He has given it to us, so we must be ———

Whatever you do to me, you do to God
So God must be ——

God’s mind belong to God,
He gave us his mind, so we must be ———

God’s name belongs to God
He gave us his name, so we must be ———

All God’s possessions belong to God
He gave them to us; we have them, so we must be ———

God told us that we are gods
God cannot lie, so we must be————

WHO TOLD US THAT WE COULDN’T SAY THESE THINGS? It wasn’t God.
It was the same people who’s been leading us, and have lived in disobedience to the expressed will of God over 2000 years now. If you believe what men say, then what God says is of greater force, and deserves infinitely greater respect. When we refuse to do what God tells us to do we deceive ourselves, and rob ourselves of God’s glory which we are called to inherit as his sons. The church is based on the foundation that we who believe in Jesus are the sons of God as well as Jesus.

Philippians 3:3 says that we are the circumcision who worship God in spirit and have no confidence in doing things according to human ability. Well if not in human ability what other ability then do we have confidence in to do all things. We are to do things the way Christ does them but if we are honest, all our confidence is squarely in our human abilities when we do things. Think for a moment what was the last thing you did just the way Jesus did them when he ministered on earth? Hive knowledge will never allow us to operate on the level of Jesus in ministry, that’s why we have to break with hive knowledge, because it has gone wrong, and there is no heart to moth living.
