Words we hear and speak, are the measure of man or the measure of God, and they produce the increase of God’s life or that of man’s life for us.
Mark 4:24-29 And he (Jesus) said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. 25 For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath. 26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up , he knoweth not how. 28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. 29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
The measure of God is measureless and given for our strength. It is ordained to come from out of the mouths of even babes, and sucklings to perfect us.
WE HIS IMAGE ECHO GOD’S WORD FOR OUR LIVES
If you work with your hands you get paid for it, but a man shall live good by the fruits of his lips.
The life of the kingdom of God is ordained to come forth out of our mouths, as out of the mouths of babes and sucklings by the words that we speak; thus according to Proverbs 12:14—if you work with your hands you get paid for it, but a man shall live good by the fruits of his lips. There is a line from a popular song that goes: “You make me feel like a natural woman” The world understands the meaning of what is natural for humans. Well the natural man is incapable of hearing, seeing, knowing, or speaking the seed of God for the very same reason that when Israel became carnal or “natural” in their ways God blinded their minds to his ways so they couldn’t navigate the spirit life.
According to the law of the spirit of life is not lawful for the natural man to see, hear, know, or speak and thus ever sow the measureless measure of God for his life. John 12:40—He (God) hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart. They could not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted; or in our case be transformed by the renewed mind that they otherwise result in for the sons of God to appear in us manifested [(Romans 8:19-22)—The whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now… to be delivered; …waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.]. Paul said he heard things in the third heaven that were unlawful for (the natural) man to speak. If he could know and speak them, he’d be sowing them like seeds, and as seeds, they would do what seeds do…grow and that is against the law of the spirit of life for the natural man to do. It is not lawful for him so the natural man can never see, hear, know, or speak and thus never sow the measureless measure of God for his life. If Christians try to operate by the law of the law of sin and death, they wind up with the same result as the natural man. We’ve been doing that for the last two thousand years now, and someone needs to wake up to that fact. No one can convince me that if Jesus were to walk the earth today as he did two thousand years ago he’d get the same results that we are experiencing. By calling ourselves Christians that’s what we are purporting to, cause Jesus gave testimony that says anyone who believe in me, the same works that I do, he shall do it also. Someone is lying, and it is not Jesus.
God has elevated his word above his name and given his word to be our lives.
What is of more importance, the name of a man, or the very man himself? Seed, word, spirit, and life are terms or concepts that refer to the same thing in scripture; in some cases used as metaphors for each other. At one point Jesus said to a group of listeners that the words he was speaking to them are spirit and life; we also know that the word that in the beginning was with God, was also God who made all things. Not only is the word of God his seed that causes the increase of God in man, but the word is also God himself. For this reason God has exalted his word above all his name, and his name being considerable, gives perspective to the significance of his word which is now set in an exalted position above his considerable name, to become our lives by which we live.
Except you eat my flesh, and drink my blood you have not my life abiding in you.
Man is to live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. He is to have every word of God for his life. Jesus the seed, and word of God said: except you eat my flesh, and drink my blood you have not my life abiding in you. The seed of God, according to scripture is said to be the word of God; it is the measure of God by which we are to measure unto ourselves the strength of God for our lives, or order our manner of living according to the strength of God through his seed that is given to us for that purpose. We are to sow the measureless measure of God for our lives. It is ordained out of our mouths as out of the mouths of babes and infants for the strength of God sufficient to silence the enemy, and all vexing adversities.
All things are possible to him who believes what?
Man is a know quantity. In every respect he is limited except one, and that is the part of man that most resembles God. Speaking to that, God says…to him that believes all things are possible. The questions that now begs an answer is: to him that believes what? That answer would be, to him who believes that he is the one to whom all things are possible, and that would be God. That’s the simplest definition of righteousness: exchanging places with God by believing…he dies as you… You receive that life he lays down and live as he by faith, bringing forth fruits in accordance; doing the reconciliation works of God which man cannot do. Psalms 82 declares it quite clearly. God stood in the congregation of the mighty judging among the gods and declared that men who are the children of God are gods, because they are his children; but they would not believe it. When Jesus came and reasserted that point of fact to them to be true because the scripture that stated it could not be broken, they tried to kill him. That part of man that God identifies as himself has no limit, as much as God has no limit. To think otherwise is to imagine a man making a mirror that is so deficient in size that he cannot see his full image in that mirror. When God made man, the concept of man was such that he could contain the fullness of God’s image unlike the heaven, or the heaven of heavens that are not able to contain him; in this regard man is bigger than the universe where he is sowing the measureless measure of God for his life, so that all thing are possible unto him.
Sowing and reaping the measureless measure of God requires the proverbial “pound of flesh”…..your’s. It is extracted at great pain. As we by nature have an aversion to pain, we are ever avoiding that process.
SOWING THE MEASURE OF FLESH LIMITATIONS OR SPIRIT LIBERATION
If you hear and sow the kind of words that confirm you in the kind of life that ends in corruption, more of those words will be given to you to speak for that confirmation, and you will see more clearly your way to that end. The same is true of the spirit to confirm unto you the measureless measure of God that you sow.
What you work for is not your living, …..the power of life and death is in the tongue. What you hear and speak therefore, whether of God or man, will be the increase of your death or life.
The word of God is deathless, breathed out of his mouth, and is like God himself…beyond all limits of time, and space.
The word of God is different from the word of man. The day that a man dies, his thoughts and his sensory-based thought process comes to an end. They perish in the process of corruption. There ends our concepts of ourselves, our ivy-league educations, our prominent stature among men. We were to have used all out strength to cement our identity in the word of God that is deathless so we could live on beyond the grave in him who never dies. Different from the word of man, the word of God is breathed out of the mouth of God, and like God is beyond all boundaries of time and space; they are eternal, like God. Jesus said that this kind of life that comes by way of God’s word to us, is meant for man to have for his life; a life that being eternal, transcends time and space, like God. If you speak or sow words that confirm you in the kind of life that ends in corruption, more words will be given to you to speak for your confirmation, and you will see more clearly your way to that end. If however, you speak words that confirm your standing in the measureless eternal incorruptible life of God, more similar words will be given you to speak and you will see by revelation your way more clearly to that end. When God made a promise to us of giving the gift of himself to us for our lives, this way of sowing the measureless measure of God for our lives, is the means by which his life is commuted to us, making us his offspring….his children.
straddling mortality… between mortality & eternity
Today folks think that being born again encompasses all that God has for man, apart from the “ in the sweet, by and by” life to come, In truth there is a whole world of living that follows as consequence of being born again. This new kind of life into which we are born is explored about as much as the new world before Christopher Columbus did the heavy lifting of expanding our horizons; which is to say this world is not explored at all. As glorious as the born again experience is, it only gains us entrance into a life where the miraculous is to be as commonplace as the air one breathes moment by moment.
The thinking behind the late Dark Ages was: the less knowledgeable people were, the easier it is to control them. It continues till this day, operating in a more covert mode; though we have the knowledge, a mechanism of unbelief prevents us from seeing it.
The reality of this life into which we come is largely lost to us as a result of the trauma of 1500 years of dark ages. Throughout those years the knowledge the measure of God meant for us was suppressed by authorities who then used the ignorance of the masses as the means to advance their tyrannical control over them. The thinking being the less knowledgeable people were the easier it was to rule them. Little is spoken of the other Dark Ages before Christ, the last Adam came to visit the human race. Between the time of the fall of the first Adam and the coming of the last Adam, who is Christ, the world sat in ignorance of this measure of God for several thousand years; these were also Dark Ages without man knowing the measure of God for their lives.
of the two dark ages past, and the present darkness
‘Tis is better to have the laws of the pope, than the laws of God.’
During the Dark Ages, William Tyndale shared with a member of the church clergy his vision of making the knowledge of God widely available to the masses by providing copies of the scriptures in the common language of the people instead of exotic foreign, or dead languages which people couldn’t understand. This member of the clergy being hopelessly lost to the corrupt dogma of the church taunted Tyndale saying: ‘it is better to have the laws of the pope than the laws of God.’ This was the prevailing sentiment of the dark ages that held men’s minds in darkness for over 1500 years.
Only 10% of the people, mostly wealthy upper class could read and write. Literacy was prohibited, the Bible banned, and if caught the owners, and their copies of the scripture were burnt. There are recorded cases where people were executed for teaching their children the Lord’s prayers, or even the Ten Commandments.
Above the measure of man, it is himself that God gave to us.
Above the measure of man, and beyond the strength of man, is that place where the measure, and the strength of God begin. From within that measure and strength that is above and beyond, the measure and strength of man, is where Jesus lived, acted, and spoke. At such times his disciples would look at each other in amazement, asking each other: what manner of man is this? If we want to get to that place of living and acting, we have to sow unto it: sowing the measure of God. The words that we speak, are compared to seeds that are sown to produce that specific manner plant from which that seed came. Sowing the seed that produces the measure of God in us brings us back to him, and is in a way, like going back home again: the chip returning to the block where it originated.
“I am your reward” People are used to the idea of sowing the word of God to get the material things of God and have no problem with that, but they frown upon the idea of sowing the word that is the personal identity of God whereby they grow up into God in all things…. to make us become what God is. When God made promise of the gift to Abraham, and to his seed, Christ, the promise was where god Gave not (of himself), but gave himself to Abraham saying to him: “I am your reward” not my things only. It was himself that God gave to Abraham, not things. Where Jesus spoke of this he said unless you eat my flesh, and drink my blood, it isn’t my life that is in you. Here we are talking about digesting a person, not the things of the person; and it is of significance to note that the person on the menu is God himself. You are what you eat and you are to eat God, and grow up into him in all things.
Are you kidding me? You mean to say a woman got pregnant by God, and had God’s baby, and she had no relations with a man?
Inability to understand a thing, is not reliable ground for dismissing the reality of it, or for ignoring the consequen- ces of it.
To say that we understand that a thing exists, is not the same as saying that we understand how it exists. Inability to understand a thing is not reliable ground for dismissing the reality of it, or ignoring the consequences of it. We accept the trinity of God without understanding how it exists. If God says something is so, it is entirely acceptable to acknowledge it to be so without understanding how it is so. When Mary was approached with the unheard of notion of an immaculate conception, and giving birth to God’s son, which by the way presented to her the same degree of perplexing implausibility as the case is with us, where being his children God makes mention of us as being gods; but in her case, Mary didn’t go running off like a headless chicken screaming…Oh my God, Oh my God, this is ridiculous….I don’t believe it….this sounds too crazy! Even to this day that phenomenon of getting pregnant by God, and having his baby is still filed away with the great mystery of the trinity. We still can’t fathom how that happened, yet it did.
I know stuff, ok; and one of them is….I ain’t no God.
More trouble than you think… Our inability to receive the truth of God calling us gods as we are his children, is more troubling than we can imagine, because it touches the vulnerable underbelly of our more general unbelief in the fact of God, though we profess faith in him. We can readily accept accounts of the other highly implausible assertions of scripture like the immaculate conception, the trinity, crossing the red sea, creation of man from dusts, the great flood etc. because those accounts are so vastly removed from us in time and space that the actual daunting aspect of their reality is lost upon we who are so far removed from them. When separated by great passing of time from trauma or larger than life anecdotes, even the painful or the implausible can be more easily accepted. Evolution allows vast stretches of time for the miracles of it creations to happen, and there are not a few people who find it believable; most “Christians” do. When God says to us: I made man out of the dust, we have no problem with that. When he stands there and says to us; because you are my son, you are god, like my first-born son Jesus is god that is inherently problematic. It is problematic because we’re not talking history, or some other guy; even when we talk about the death of some other guy it’s easier to handle, but now you’re pointing the finger at me. I know stuff, ok; and one of them is….I ain’t no God. Well that’s fine, but just don’t go around calling yourself his son or daughter.
WHO SAYS YOU CAN’T GO BACK HOME AGAIN?
The Old covenant promised the land of Canaan to Israel; by the new covenant the whole earth, and the heaven of heavens are given to the sons of God in Christ Jesus.
God calls us to places we cannot go with our feet; but by revelations in the spirit only…
Isaiah 41:3 To receive the kingdoms of this earth.
How could such a thing be? Mary’s response to the immaculate conception was something that only sterling integrity of moral character, and propensity for brutal honesty could allow. After great searching of heart she replied: I do not doubt it, but how can such a thing be? Where God says, being his children we are gods, we don’t even want to know how that could be, we just don’t even want to hear about it. How long did God have to search to find such a soul in the earth as Mary’s spirit was? It ought to be of no surprise that she is the great grand-daughter of David, the greatest king that ever lived, or that her first-born son would be called Jesus the son of this David. For though God holds the princes of this earth in utter contempt, and their lives counted as less than vanity even at their very best state, yet this same David who as a mere youth, stared down the lumbering brute of Goliath before taking his head off, trembled at the thought of becoming the son-in-law of an earthly king. If David trembled at the thought of becoming the son-in-law of an earthly king, how is it that we would think to be children of the Great King of all Kings, and the Lord of all Lords that are in heaven and upon the earth, and not sense the terror of this dreadful majesty. As Jacob awoke from sleep he remarked, how dreadful the place where he slept was, for God was there, and he knew it not; he later called it the gate of heaven, and the house of God.
The periodic sufferings of this present time by which we groan and travail in pain, are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us as we are transformed from glory to glory
Isaiah 41:1-3 Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near ; then let them speak : let us come near together to judgment. 2 Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow. 3 He pursued them, and passed safely; even by the way that he had not gone with his feet.
We have brought the tools of man to do the works of God and though it hasn’t played well across the last two thousand years, we are yet undeterred. One would think we were the captain of our ship….or maybe that is in fact the general assumption here?
Similarly just like Mary, Joseph, and all the Jews who were required to show up at Jerusalem for the census, and other religious purposes during the year, we also are called right now…not after we die, but right now while we are living, breathing, and walking around to be present in the heavenly Jerusalem; not the one in the middle east. In this heavenly Jerusalem, you come to: the mount Zion, the city of the living God, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. To accomplish this you have to transcend time and space; it requires that we sow unto ourselves the measure of God for our lives. Back in the day you would make the trip to that Jerusalem by way of camels, donkeys, mules, horses, etc. Today you get to the heavenly Jerusalem by way of revelations as you sow the measureless measure of God to receive your portion of the new covenant that is divided out to us by the mediator of the new covenant according to your sowing the measure of God for your life. This is a road you cannot travel with your feet.
Amazingly God has asked us to do the impossible, but we instead have chosen to do the possible, but this cannot reveal God to the world. He has asked us to continue doing Jesus’ ministry of reconciliation works in his absence. These are things that are not possible with man, but yet God has asked us to do them, and even greater works. God knows that within us there is something that needs to come on-line, and have made that knowledge clearly available by written instructions, and live demonstrations. These things would be possible with us should we come to the acknowledgment that we are to sow unto ourselves the measureless measure of God where all things become possible with us. Muscles that we don’t use atrophy and become useless; and coming lately to the game and finding that these things are not possible with us because we have not provided the proper “wineskins” for it, we have chosen to do the next best thing…..to do the things that are possible with us, and call them not the works of man, but the works of God. When we fail to obey God we deceive ourselves; and entering into this kind of self-deception there isn’t much chance of recovery. We have persuaded ourselves that we are doing something; and if the old truism holds true, a man cannot learn what he thinks he already knows.
By the fruits of our lips we engage the strength of God. Jacob said the hands of the Lord working with him made strong the arms of my hands, increasing his strength a hundred times. Whosoever lose his life to obtain the life that comes with the kingdom of heaven will find his life; but whosoever shuns that life that comes with the kingdom of heaven will lose his life. If we exert all our energies to obtain a life that is the result of our natural competence driven by academic training in the background of our interest, and by gainful employment find great success, we become tied to that success or its pursuit and we will lose the life that could have been in the kingdom of heaven. By that success we insulate ourselves from sundry sources that makes us vulnerable to the grief that causes us to invite God’s life and strength. This is a life that is found in the valley of the shadow of death where, in green pastures and beside still waters can be found the table that is prepared in the presence of hostile elements. There is a good life that is harvested through the fruits of our lips; the kingdom of heaven that comes from within us as we sow the limitless measure of God for that life A man shall live good by the fruits of his lips but if you’ve found the life of your hand you forfeit the life that comes of the fruits of your lips.
