For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
The Lord sent a word into Jacob (meaning: the swindler to transform him), and (when it finished it’s purifying work) it lighted (came to rest) upon Israel (meaning: transformed as a prince having power with God—That’s what all the fire is about…God looking for a transformation…looking for sons, and daughters that have power with God). When it was over the words of satisfaction in the outcome were spoken—as a prince you have prevailed and have power with God.
Jeremiah said as soon as he spoke the word everything erupted into violence, and spoiling; so much so he thought it over, and said, Hmmmm, I don’t think I’ll speak this word anymore. When you speak the word of God, you are calling for a change, calling for an upgrade—for the kingdom of God, and it comes from within you. You don’t pull the pin on a grenade, and think for a second that the situation is going to remain unaltered. You expect a paradise, but all hell breaks open. The word of God is the word of his power…..all of it, all his power is invested in his word, AKA—Jesus.
Jeremiah said as soon as he spoke the word, it started— the birth pangs sit on for the transformation. This is the kind of violence that most people mistake for Satan attacking them. When Jesus wrestled all night with Jacob, Satan had nothing to do with it. That was all Jesus proving that Jacob was capable of holding the princely estate was coming to him. Isaiah spoke by the Spirit of this searching for this prince that has power with God: The Lord sent a word into Jacob (meaning: the swindler to transform him), and (when it finished it’s purifying work) it lighted (came to rest) upon Israel (meaning: as a prince having power with God—That’s what all the fire is about…God looking for a transformation…looking for sons, and daughters that have power with God). When it was over the words of satisfaction in the outcome were spoken—as a prince you have prevailed and have power with God.
God refuses to have any sons or daughters that are bastards, and not legitimately sons of his. Jesus said all the people in Zion who had the wrong idea about him were both surprised, and transfixed in the grips of fearfulness and trembling, when he showed up; he was just not what they expected. You looked for God and you didn’t expect an unjust judge, but the unjust judge brings the fire; the fire to try every man’s work. Jesus asked….who shall live with me, I am a devouring fire. Jesus is not just the forth man in the furnace, he is also the fire in the furnace, a refiner’s fire for your transformation.
In this battle there shall be the burning of unquenchable (refining) fire, and the people will be the fuel, and as fuel will drive that fire….as they resist, the Lord shall call for more refining fire; and of the increase of his kingdom there shall be no end. This burning shall not stop until it can cease in the prince that emerges out of man to have power with God.
God is not looking to beat us down, but to bring us up to the prince that can have power with God. God isn’t looking for the human pets we are content to be, but for someone who can stand as a prince and can share and wield power with him—pets are not expected to do this.
The Midianites could take one look at Moses who escaped with his life from Egypt and the they could tell right away he stood like a prince, though in rags. The world should look at you and tell you are as a prince having power with God…calling dead things alive when there is casting down you say there is lifting up. They should see the smoke of his fire about and over you, as it were. Your blood, sweat, and tears should stain the gospel you preach, till as Paul, you call it your gospel.
Isaiah Chapter 9 : 6-21
Thou hast multiplied the nation, but not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest (time), and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. (But they do not know the joy of the Lord. They are preoccupied with the husk of the wheat, but God is looking to the kernel of he wheat—the trash is of no value to him).
(Therefore) the Lord sent a word into Jacob (the swindler to transform him), and (when it finished it’s purifying work, the word sent to the swindler) it hath lighted (came to rest) upon (the transformed prince) Israel (who being transformed is now a prince having power with God—That’s what all the fire is about…God looking for a transformation…looking for sons, and daughters that have power with him).
When we resist the transformation; God calls for the more refining fire. [Verse13—For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.]
Therefore the LORD shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him, and join his enemies together; The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out still. For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.
15 The ancient and honourable, he [is] the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he [is] the tail. For the leaders of this people cause [them] to err; and [they that are] lead of them [are] destroyed. Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one [is] an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out still. For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up [like] the lifting up of smoke. Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother.
For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
EVEN IF YOU SAW HIM, YOU COULDN’T SEE HIM.
He is the refiner’s fire and the fullers soap, and the unjust judge—who knew?.
O LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived : thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed : I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me. For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily. O LORD, thou knowest : remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors ; take me not away in thy longsuffering : know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.
Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place; And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: Being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.
For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face. Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths often. Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches. Who is weak, and I am not weak ? who is offended, and I burn not? 30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not. In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me: And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
