Getting the things that are in heaven to be the condition of things on earth is a very important consideration of God. He directed Jesus to teach us to pray toward that end, and the entire aim of his reconciliation ministry is that very thing.
OF THINGS IN HEAVEN: To Be On Earth
Things on earth are a shadow of the pattern of things in heaven. Getting the things that are in heaven to be the state of things on earth is a very important consideration for God. He directed Jesus to teach us to pray toward that end—“that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. The whole aim of God’s reconciliation ministry is that very thing; bringing the things that are in heaven down to earth. To reconcile something means to make it come in line with something else—be as something else other than what is presently manifesting. In this case make things on earth to be made as they are in heaven. On earth man is the shadow, or image of the pattern of God who is in heaven.
We present God again upon earth by proxy— believing to be God by the faith of God that presents God again to exercise dominion reach over all his creation. God could do this without man but man cannot do this without God. God has chosen this way to involve man in this dominion by proxy, reigning in man over his creation.
God says in Psalm 82 that because man won’t acknowledge that man is god according to the workmanship of God;
all the foundations of the earth remain out of alignment, as man walks on in darkness, because he will not be God.
All the foundations of this earth needs to be made again to be as they are as the pattern of things in heaven. The things in heaven appear so far from us we usually put them off for another life, after we die. This reconciliation work is a work that man has neither experience or qualification to do. The challenge of this work requires someone that has no limitations. Man has limitations, and this point man either has to just forget it and go home, or else become someone that has no limitations. That is why God gave to us the gift of himself who has no limitation. To receive that gift man must reach for it by faith—the faith of God….faith to be God on earth; the complete, perfect image of God on earth as he is in heaven. He is not a different God than the Almighty any more your image in the mirror is a different person than you who are standing in front of the mirror.
We are a pattern of God on earth as he is in heaven; doing the things on earth that he is doing in heaven. If we can by the faith of God believe to be God on earth, all things will become possible with we who believe.
In Psalm 139 God says before he made us, all our members were written in a book which consistent with that model in the book we were then afterwards fashioned. When he told Moses to build a tabernacle he instructed Moses to do so after the pattern showed him in mount according to the shadow of things in heaven.
Things on earth are a shadow or image of the things in heaven. For the things on earth there is a matching pattern of them in heaven.
The will of God is accomplished where they line up. All of them fell out of line when by transgression Adam fell away from, and out of line with God(hood). He became limited in the scope of his reach to exercise dominion. Nature, and the elements began to exercise dominion over him.
Man cannot exercise dominion over things where being limited, his sphere of influence has no reach.
As with Moses who was told to make things of the tabernacle according to the pattern of things in heaven that they are a shadow of, Jesus came along and declared that he did nothing of himself, but only according to what he could see God our Father doing in heaven, which he Jesus then proceeded the in like manner do.
