BECAUSE HEAVEN CAN’T WAIT: Now Faith Is..—Part 2

God is a gift, given to man—not the kind of gift you can store away with other valuables in a safe, or carry around with you. This gift is a being that you are to become—you become the gift that is given. This gift is to be received, and embraced by faith—The “faith of God”…..to be God, who is that gift that is given. The “faith of God" is the seed to be God. God is already God; He doesn’t need faith to be himself. The “faith of God” is for man to have, so he won”t continue to be man anymore—he gets transformed. The faith is the seed of God  that produces God in man, or reproduces God in men. This is the means by which God propagates himself throughout the earth, by faith—“the faith of God”….to be God, who is the gift given to man. A man may give you a gift, but you don’t have to receive it. You could say, naaaaaaah, yer lying; I don’t believe you. There seems to be some entrenched monolithic construct that is exercising dominion over the faith of the saints. The exercise of this dominion is to the end that no saint graduate from infants to the stature of the perfect man. It calls scenes from the blockbuster movie “The Matrix” where such a system kept the global population in a state of delusion where they never really mature but were all their lives fed upon while they imagined some version of life.

Again our problem is that we don’t see the Bible as a practical document offering practical directives to men. This is how the truth continues to elude us. It’s right there hiding in plain sight, like King Author’s sword stuck in the stone and no one can handle it. Man’s eyes have never seen, nor their ears heard, nor can they speak it, because it’s not for man.

No man could pull out the sword of King Arthur from the stone except Arthur himself whose sword it was. No man knows the things of a man except the spirit of man which is in him. Don't plan to handle the double portion—greater works mantle of Jesus except you plan to be Jesus—which happens to be the plan of God for us.

If God has offered us an indecipherable road map, then he’s got to be some kind of practical joker; I contend that he is not. If we don’t believe him, then we are going to interpret what he says as something other than what he said. If you don’t believe the source, then his message is equally unbelievable if not unreliable.

God has given to man a gift that man can neither see, not declare, nor understand. This message is intended for the image of God within man. It is sent in care of man, but must be forwarded to the image of God within who understands the things of God that man cannot understand.

God is a gift given to man. God said to Abraham: Abraham, behold, I make a gift of myself to you; I am your exceeding great reward. Where this “exceeding great reward that is directed to us” applies to us, Paul writes in Ephesians:

That ye may know what is the exceeding great reward / exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe , according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named , not only in this world, but also in that which is to come : And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.

He ceases not to give thanks for us, making mention of us in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of our understanding being enlightened ; that we may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe , according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named , not only in this world, but also in that which is to come : And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.  God’s exceeding great reward to Abraham and the exceeding greatness of his mighty power that is directed to us are the same thing. In one instance spoken to Abraham and now to us the seed of Abraham.

His platoon laughed at him, but his testimony led his sergeant to Christ.
